Enjoy the benefits of a salon hair treatment at home–in three minutes

by Trixie Reyna, Managing Editor

How do you damage your hair? It’s simple, really. Have it rebonded and colored, heat-style it then expose it to the sun and pollution everyday, then take a side trip to the beach—surfing and swimming until your hair is completely dried out.

I’ve done all these things in the past few months, and the result was, as expected, horrible. I went to a salon to have it treated, and the stylist all but lamented at how dry my rebonded and colored hair has become. He said that once you’ve had your hair rebonded or colored, you need to have it treated once a week.

But not all of us have the resources or even the time to visit the salon weekly for treatments. So he said that salon treatments could instead be limited to at least once a month, and then I should sustain my hair with weekly home treatments in between those salon visits.

It was quite timely that I stumbled upon this newest product, Pantene’s 3-Minute Miracle Treatment. It’s exactly what I need.

A quaint shopping village in the heart of Cubao

by Trixie Reyna, Managing Editor

There’s actually a great shopping place within the Araneta complex apart from Gateway Mall. It has some really amazing finds and even a quaint Italian restaurant you have probably heard about and should definitely try.

Have you heard of Cubao Expo? It is the former The Marikina Shoe Expo, nestled between the Araneta bus terminal and Puregold, and located behind Ali Mall & the old Rustan’s Superstore, which now houses Automatic Supercenter and ACS Call Center.

Among its tenants are I Love You store, Grand Thrift Shop, Little Divisoria, The Reading Room (with lots of fashion finds and even a soul card reading room where you can have your fortune told by its proprietor, Sandy Allan), Breathing Space, White Box Gallery, Sputnik Fantastik Comicbook Shop, and Bellinis Italian restaurant, which we mentioned at the beginning of this post.

Learn more about this quaint shopping place hidden in the heart of Cubao in Quezon City as well as their exciting shopping events after the jump.
