Holiday pairs for flat-shoe lovers

by Savvy Shopper

Are you looking for pretty footwear to go with your holiday dresses—but are really not up for the glossy high-heeled styles that are so prominent these days?

You need not force your delicate feet into uncomfortable stilettos when you go to all those Christmas parties. The trick is to find stand out flats that complement your equally stylish outfit and make you comfortable enough to mingle and dance the night away.

For ideas, check out LA-based BC Footwear’s holiday collection, which includes a selection of dainty sling-backs and comfy-looking peep-toe flats and low-wedges. They’re perfect accessories for those with a feminine and distinctively no-nonsense style.

Now available in the Philippines, see which BC pair would look great with your holiday outfit after the jump.

The Bowl Cut (P2,750) style, particularly in black and pink, will go best with the outfit you’ve picked out for a dressier affair.

Pair one of these Melting Point (P2,995) low-wedges with the skirt or laid-back sundress you’ve picked out for a barkada get-together or family reunion.

Can’t part with your skinny jeans? They’d look great with a pair from the Warm Front (P2,995) design.

BC Footwear is available in the following:
- Rustan’s Department Store Makati
- Rustan’s Department Store Shangrila Tower
- Rustan’s Department Store Alabang Town Center
- The Ramp by Crossings in Makati

I actually own a pair of BC shoes I got from the states last summer and I can say that they’re made with good quality material because I wear them often (coz they’re so comfortable), and they still look the same as the day I got them (except for the wrinkles on the sides). I’d rather spend a bit more than have to get a new pair after just a few months!

melissa shoes also look cheap. you also have the tsinelas that is havianas. but you pay for the quality and unexpectedly incredible comfort. it could be for the same reason that these BC ones are so priced. then again, maybe they’re just plainly and simply OVERPRICED.
