Who says you can’t do shopping for a higher cause?

We can be shopaholics all we want, but we can try doing so in a way that does not contribute to environmental degradation. Instead of letting salespersons pack your groceries or new clothes into plastic or paper bags, why not stash them in eco-totes instead?

Eco-shopping is what SM Supermalls had in mind when they launched the new GreenBag last Friday. These eco-friendly bags allow shoppers to participate in the global cause of reducing the use of non-biodegradable plastic shopping bags. Made from 100% recyclable material, the bag’s size is equivalent to two regular shopping bags and has an estimated lifespan of two years.
