Juicy Couture: Fragrance for fun, fashionable females
by Trixie Reyna, Managing Editor
If you’re into very girly things like anything pink, very kikay perfume bottles and makeup packaging, and anything sweet and sassy, you probably love Juicy Couture’s flirty and ultra-feminine fashion.
Created by actress Gela Nash-Taylor and costume designer Pamela Skaist-Levy, Juicy Couture is known for its trendy, sexy, and kitschy casual wear, patronized by glamorous celebrities such as Madonna herself. Well, now there’s a way to wear Juicy Couture wherever, whenever—as a fragrance, that is.
The brand has gone a long way, now including lines such as men’s wear, evening wear, baby wear, and bags, among others. It’s only but natural that it would venture into perfumes. And just like its fashion, it is whimsical, blending classic elegance and modern romance beautifully. You’ll feel very pretty, sexy, and confident wearing it. I should know—I wore it through Valentine’s week up to yesterday, and it gave me that extra boost of poise and sophistication.
The scent brings to mind the romantic city of Paris and the classic beauties of bygone eras in their fancy makeup, overflowing corsets, and petticoats. But this is not to say it smells old—in fact, it smells really youthful albeit classy. It’s like bringing the seduction of those romantic years into modern times. It’s perfect for formal affairs or intimate dinner dates. Your man won’t be able to resist your beautiful scent.
It’s long-lasting, too. I spritz it twice in the morning, and again in the evening if I have anywhere to go, and it smells more beautiful, blending naturally, the longer I wear it.
It has fruity top notes of watermelon, mandarin, and pink passion fruit mingled with marigold and green apple, enhanced by a splash of water hyacinth and crushed leaves. It gets its vintage essence from mid-notes couture tuberose absolute, wild rose, and princess lily. Decadent base notes include crème brulée, vanilla, precious woods, and patchouli.
It’s about time you embraced your femininity with this scent.

Hi Trixie oh.my.I love this! good that you feature my fave. The scent lasts but it’s not overpowering. Caution:) Do be careful when spritzing as it’s quite easy to get carried away. You definitely don’t want too much of this because the initial sweetness will kill you. And since it does last throughout the day, wearing too much will actually be a burden. this fragrance can be summed up into three words: flirtatious, perky, and young. The bottles are also quite superb! It makes you not want to finish the fragrance. It’s a really pretty bottle to have displayed on your vanity. It also comes with little charms and other trinkets to keep you gazing at this perfume for at least a week. I got mine in Rustans Makati last sunday..sweet:)
