Even if you’re not so much of a sneakers fan or health buff, we’re quite sure you would find it hard to resist owning a pair of these hot pink sneakers. In fact, we’ll be quite surprised if you’re a pink-lover and still do not own a pair.
One look at Nike’s spanking new Sister One+ (P4,995), which is part of their newly-launched Sister line, will tell you that it is no ordinary pair of sneakers. Not only does it completely stand out with its fabulously luscious shade (it also comes in purple, by the way), it has cool features that will definitely impress all health-conscious fashionistas. It’s best for training and non-linear workouts, as Nike’s DiamondFLX technology makes this shoe more flexible than your usual pair of sneakers.
But for those like me who need more than these workout-friendly features to convince them to own a pair of Sister One+, I’ve listed four things you can do while wearing these hot pink sneakers—all of them guaranteed to make you look great. Most of them can even help you burn a few calories without you having to call it a workout!
1. Run errands. These kikay shoes are actually great for one of my favorite calorie-burning activities: shopping (whether I actually buy something or just do the window version). Its breathable mesh material kept my feet cool, even if I had to transfer from one mall to another in the scorching heat at one point. I didn’t have to worry about sore feet either because of the shoe’s comfortable cushioning.

2. Work. Our job involves doing several shoots, and a typical shoot would have me running around the studio to get the next outfit to fit on a mannequin or a model, or walk across rugged surfaces when we have outdoor locations. Thankfully, Sister One+ allows multidirectional flexibility with its DiamondFLX technology. Its durable rubber outsole pods provide good grip for any kind of surface, making the transition from the studio to uneven ground much easier.
3. Walk long distances. I’m not exactly into working out in a gym, but I do enjoy jogging or brisk walking around the neighborhood to stay in shape. I never felt my feet grow heavy with these sneaks on, thanks to Nike’s light Flywire threads. If I get to join an Alay Lakad during Holy Week, I’ll make sure to wear this pair.
4. Look hip and fab while you do all of the above. ‘Nuff said.
Nike’s Sister One+ is available in all Nike Park and Nike Women outlets nationwide.
