If you’re in your 20s or 30s, we know what you’re currently worried about: fine lines, dull complexion, and the increasingly coarser texture of your skin. No matter how you try to deny it, every morning it stares you in the face: you’re aging.
But it need not scare you. After all, our goal should really not be to remain young forever but to age gracefully. And that involves delaying the aging process as much and as naturally as possible. One of the ways to do that is by helping cells maintain the ability to renew themselves, so skin remains healthy and looks it, too.
Invest in skincare products from a trusted brand that will enhance your skin’s renewal cycle or even have the technology to mimic it. Try Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer (P3,000), which has the latest enzyme technology to trigger skin’s natural renewal mechanisms, so it remains healthy and appears less stressed.
What I love about this silky, lightweight serum aside from its texture is the speed at which it takes effect. Immediately after application, skin feels smooth, soft, and bouncy. It also looks luminous almost instantly, thanks to special optics, including green tint oxides, that help scatter light to make skin appear brighter.
It also involves a more innovative exfoliation process, as the ingredients found in Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer trigger the shedding of the very top dead surface skin cells. And because of its Salicylic Acid content, exfoliation only happens where your skin needs it most.
I apply it twice daily after cleansing and applying the Clarifying Lotion and before applying the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, as an additional part of my Clinique 3-step routine. Avoid immediate eye area.
Clinique Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer is now available at all Clinique counters in Rustan’s.

Hi, Raks! According to our Clinique contact, it is safe for pregnant women. But personally, I’d still recommend you consult your OB-GYN before you try anything if you’re pregnant.

^Raks, salicylic acid (BHA, Aspirin, ASA), in its oral form, is a no-no during pregnancy; however, doctors are playing it safe and are recommending that salicylic acid, in any form, shouldn’t be used at all during pregnancy.
