The brainchild of a team of students from the Ateneo de Manila University, Ylla Shoes is a brand flourishing on its claim to fame as “socially responsible footwear.” Chic, durable, and absolutely eco-friendly, the shoes are a testament to increasing levels of environmental awareness in the local fashion industry.

Ylla Shoes support Philippine indigenous textiles and raw materials; each pair is constructed from assorted dyed jute mess or jute canvas, the sustainable natural fiber from which burlap is made.
