Shop love: Esprit
byOkay okay, I’m not sure if some of you ladies know my background but before I started writing and styling I worked as a fashion buyer. I spent 4 years being one of the buyers of… you guessed it… Esprit! You might think that I’m a little bit biased and I have to admit that I am. I’ve grown to love the brand not only because of the cute clothes but also because of the amazing quality that each piece has. If you look inside my closet, you’ll find that a lot of my pieces are from Esprit. Some are even 4 years old but they still look amazing. If there’s one thing the brand stands for, its QUALITY!
Recently, the brand opened its doors to its new digs in Megamall. Shopcrazy was lucky enough to be invited to view the new store and Spring/Summer collection.
The new Megamall A store is composed of 3 lines: EDC, Women Casual and Men Casual. We asked Esprit insiders Alexis Ang, Aimee Chua, Fanny Wong and Marco Borromeo to show us their favorite pieces from the collection.
Alexis Ang: Buyer EDC
Pick#2: Cropped Cargo Pants
Price: P3798
How would you style it? 2 ways! First for day, I’d wear it with a white tanktop, scarf and flat sandals. For the evening, I’d kick it up a notch by pairing it with a statement necklace and killer heels.
Fanny Wong: Visual Merchandiser
Pick #1: Balloon Denim Pants
Price: P 3498
How would you style it? I’d wear it with a tank top and combat boots. Cool, effortless and chic!
Pick #2: Gingham Print Blazer
Price: P 4498
How would you style it? I’d wear it with a pretty blouse, wide leg denims and cork weges. A fresh take on the 70′s!
Marco Borromeo: Senior Manager Cinderella Glorietta
Pick #1: Stripe Blazer
Price: P5998
How would you style it? I’d wear it with a plain shirt, slim cut shorts and boat shoes.
Price: P2998
How would you style it? The shirt would look great paired with simple flat front khaki pants and white converse sneakers.
I love their picks! but I have to say, my absolute favorites are the cropped cargos and the gingham blazer. I’m so in love with those pieces! Do try to drop by the new store and share with us your own picks!
