Product Love: Mates Memory Foam Pillows

Mates Memory Foam Pillow, P788

By the amount of posts I write about traveling, I’m pretty sure you can tell that it is a passion of mine. If anyone presented me with a ticket to go anywhere in the world, I’d be packed and ready in 5 minutes! I have packing down to a science. I’m always ready with books, magazines, and my iPod so as not to get bored at the terminal; and I have a very chic traveling uniform. All these, however, cannot help me the minute I fall asleep on the plane. The minute I go off into a deep sleep, I become the most unglamorous passenger. I can’t help it! My neck rolls around, I probably snore, and I have caught myself more than once sleeping with my mouth open. Definitely not cute. Now, there are a lot of travel pillows out there but I just can’t find one that I really like. I find the blow up ones uncomfortable, while some are ridiculously expensive. P1,500 for a neck pillow? No thanks!

So while running errands over the weekend, my husband and I spotted this little kiosk selling an assortment of memory foam pillows (If there’s one thing you should know about my husband and I, we are big fans of memory foam! They give us the best sleep ever). They had one for every conceivable part of your body. Bed pillows to support your neck, tail bone pillows to help pregnant women, and so on and so forth. They had a pillow specifically for travel, the classic shaped one, but we were more drawn to the donut one. Why? Because of it’s 3 uses! First of all, it makes an amazing travel pillow; just slip it around your neck and you’re ready to doze off. It keeps your head in place and is really super comfortable (this fact alone made me a fan). Second, it can also be used for home massages. Just place your face at the center and you’re good to go. The third use is the classic donut, which you can sit on while recovering from giving birth or surgery.

I’m so glad we got them. Now, not only will I be as comfortable as I can ever be in coach, but I can now say goodbye to the “rolling neck and falling into your seat mate’s shoulder” syndrome. Hurrah!

Classic Donut Shape Travel Pillow, P788

I mean seriously, this pillow can do anything. It also comes with its own traveling case and in a gazillion different colors. The Donut memory foam pillow retails for only P788 and is available in the Mates kiosk, 3rd floor, Robinson’s Galleria.
