Fab Find of the Week: Silver Snake from Jean and Rosz

by Leona Lavina-Panutat

Snake Necklace/Belt P550

Yes my dears, another accessories post. I’m sorry, but I just can’t help it! People keep on making really, really good ones at crazy, affordable prices! This week’s Fab Find comes from a brand I’m not sure everyone’s familiar with… yet. This gorgeous, eye-popping piece comes from Jean and Rosz, brainchild of friends Krisha Rosz Iliscupidez and Jeanny Lyn So. The ladies have an absolutely breathtaking collection of elegant well-made accessories. Knockout rings, necklaces, and bangles that Rachel Zoe, queen of “excessorizing” would kill for! This snake charmer is one of them. When Krisha brought it out of the bag I–you guessed it–gasped!

Brooches fro Carolina's Lace Shoppe Php 100 each

While looking for fabric the other day in Carolina’s, I noticed a couple of sparkly things flashing in front of me. I thought they were the usual jewel-encrusted belt buckles, rhinestones, or buttons. Upon closer inspection though, I found out that the were actually brooches. Very lovely brooches indeed! I asked the sales lady to get me a couple of different designs so that I could choose. I was thinking of getting one or two but when I found out they cost just Php 100 a pop, I decided to get more, around 3 or 4 or–er–5! Hehe! Brooches are such a versatile accessory. They instantly upgrade any outfit that you have on. Read on to see the different ways I plan to wear them.

Coral Drop Earrings What Women Want

Nothing screams resort chic more than turquoise and coral colored jewelry. And since turquoise has been featured countless times for clothes, accessories, and more over the years, I decided to put the spotlight on its less exposed yet equally fabulous partner, coral. This very bohemian and very gorgeous tropical color brings a burst of fun to any ensemble. Now there are a lot of coral colored accessories out there. Every brand, from Escada to Tory Burch to Mango, has its version. And since this is such a trendy and seasonal color, I wanted to look for a less expensive alternative that looked beautiful and well-made.

Souk Embroidered Kaftan

I’m flying off to Palawan next week for a shoot, and I am panicking! Not only do I have to choose the clothes for the models, but I also need to do some serious summer shopping for myself! I mean, I want to look as fabulous as the models I’ll be dressing, right? So I hit the mall and went straight to one of my favorite shopping haunts: The Ramp. This department store carries one of the best selections when it comes to affordable fashion. I love that the majority of their brands are all home grown– more power to Pinoy fashion!

So Fab Navy Blue Garter Wedges - P899

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of navy-colored heels since last year. I always thought they would make a fresh alternative to basic black and gray.  Navy looks amazing against white, and it just pops when paired with a khaki ensemble. Although a lot of shoe brands came up with their own versions of this versatile  color, I couldn’t quite bring myself to cough up around P3,000 for a pair. So I waited . . . and waited . . . and waited–until I came across this adorable pair from So Fab! Not only are the crisscross garter straps nice to look at, but they make the shoes ultra-comfortable too! The straps adjust to the natural shape of your feet so there’s no pinching whatsoever. It comes in a wedge heel, which gives you a lot of support and allows you to stand in them the whole day.
