Fun Fab Feature: Levi’s Curve ID

by Leona Lavina-Panutat

All I can say is.. Oh. My.Gosh… BEST. JEANS. EVER.

Levi's Curve ID in Slight, Demi and Bold

Last Friday, I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Levi’s head office to check out their new line, Levi’s Curve ID. It aims to provide women with the best fitting pair of jeans based not just on their waist lines, but on the different curves of her body. I was a bit skeptical at first. I’ve heard the line “best-jeans-ever” before and more often than not, I would leave a store empty handed and frustrated after trying out dozens of pairs. But then again, we’re talking about Levi’s here, a brand that’s been producing women’s jeans for 75 years. If anyone knows jeans, it would have to be them.

Statement-making accessories have been making headlines since Spring 2009, and it looks like they won’t be losing their momentum anytime soon. The Fall runways of Etro, Lanvin, and Oscar dela Renta sparkled with jaw-dropping pieces that would make perfect family heirlooms. I suppose there’s just something about a beautifully crafted piece that elevates your outfit from cute to unbelievably chic. Shop Love: Forever 21

by Leona Lavina-Panutat

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, I’m sure you all know that mega fashion chain Forever 21 has hit Philippine shores! I was privileged enough to be invited to take a sneak peek of the store days before the grand opening.

The flagship store has a selling area of 2,300 square meters and 34 fitting rooms and is divided into 5 lines. They have F21 for nice spot-on trendy pieces, Heritage which is a lot more collegiate: preppy plaids, cute tees and bottoms, 21 men which has basics with a twist, 12 by 12 which houses lines from 12 different designers based in LA, and Love 21, which offers a more sophisticated collection.

by Leona Lavina-Panutat

Ahh, June… You know what that means: Summer is over  (although there are days when it sure doesn’t feel like it), and it’s now time to go back to school! In honor of the 19 years I spent inside the classroom (I started going to school when I was two years old) I would like to present to you my top 10 back-to-school finds under P1,000 and the numerous way to wear them.

1) Redhead Military Jacket (P599.75): Such a cute topper for when the AC is blowing like there’s no tomorrow.

2) Betty Floral Cardigan (P499.75): A sweet and ladylike alternative to your usual hoodie.

3) Calypso Blouse (P999.75): Love the loose shape and basic wear-with-anything color.

Fab Find of the Week: 3-Way Studded Bag from What A Girl Wants

by Leona Lavina-Panutat

For someone who believes in the power of accessories, I have a pretty pathetic collection of bags. I guess it’s because I lug around a lot of stuff daily and I get lazy to transfer them from one bag to another. I tend to choose bags that are huge (black holes, actually) and in neutral colors so that they can go with all of my outfits. But with all the events I’ve been going to lately, my giant bags just won’t do! Not only do they look bulky and awkward, but they do not go with my evening ensembles at all! Lucky for me, I found the perfect bag that goes with any outfit, day or night, and can be used in three different ways! I am so in love with this tan studded bag from What A Girl Wants.
