Although little-known in these shores, California-based Gateway has actually been around since 1985. Gateway is a pioneer in computing technology that has award-winning products to its name. The company was acquired by Acer Inc. in 2007, and together they comprise the world’s third-largest PC company.

At a recently held press launch, Gateway unveiled its introductory models: the UC7308i and UC7811i laptops for multimedia and gaming enthusiasts, classy MD2601i and MD7802i notebooks, LT1001i netbook, and ZX2300W all-in-one desktop.
